On the occasion of Vanamahostava, the staff and students joined together to contribute to the celebrations of this festival of trees.

The “Verdant Victorians” participated in the online Essay writing competitions in Kannada based on the theme “Ecosystem Restoration” ("ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ"). The students were also asked to send pictures of them planting the saplings. Some students prepared charts with captions that inspired the feeling of protecting nature by “Going Green”.

On 19th July 2021, the Principal and staff came together and participated in planting the saplings in the college garden.

The Victorians hope that this small contribution helps to restore the damage faced by Mother Earth in the present age of urban development.
