The 78th Independance day celebration at ladyhill Victoria high school was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The program commenced with the stirring rendition of vande Matram followed by ceremonial flag hoisting alongside Principal sister Ujwala AC, Vice Principal sister Sharmila AC and assistant headmistress sister Pushpa AC. This act was a moment of pride symbolising the unity and integrity of the nation.
The celebration then proceeded to the school auditorium, where a series of cultural performances by class 10th d students showcased India's rich heritage and diverse traditions.
The event began with the solem prayer service, followed by a dynamic welcome dance that celebrated the Nations freedom and cultural vibrancy.
The chief guest for the program Dr Rajini assistant professor in management from government first grade college kumta who is also an alumna of a school was accorded a formal welcome.
The celebration featured a compelling drama portraying the lives of freedom fighters Kittur Chennamma and Bhagat Singh. The program also included a vibrant cultural dance, that highlights the diverse traditions of India.
Chief guest Dr Rajini inspired the students, urging them to actively contribute to the Nations progress.
