The feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of our school, was celebrated on 18th July 2024 with great devotion. The students of I Commerce hosted a programme in honour of Mother Mary. The celebration began with a solemn prayer service that highlighted the importance of grace towards growth in divine intimacy. Mariyam Afeefa and Ayisha Simra compered the celebration and Archana welcomed the gathering. The audience were welcomed with a graceful welcome dance, rejoicing the spirit of the feast. Further, a skit on the importance of Brown Scapular was enacted and gave the message that whoever wears this will be protected from all danger and harm. Harshitha highlighted the history of the Carmalite Order and the significance of the Scapular. A blessing song was sung by the students. The students performed a goan folk dance. To entertain the audience and to develop the skill of knowledge, quiz was also conducted.

The college vice principal Sr. Shermila A.C addressed the gathering, gave a brief insight about the feast and also congratulated the students for their performance. The Principal Sr. Ujwala A.C graced the occasion with her presence. Ayesha Raifa proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the College Anthem.
