Republic Day Celebration

Ladyhill Victoria High School celebrated the 75th Republic day on January 26th with patriotism and fervor. Students took great pride in glorifying the spirit of unity.

The chief guest Mrs. Clementina along with Joint Secretary Sr.Violet Tauro A.C. the Principal Sr. Ujvala A.C. and all the heads of the Ladyhill Institutions were led to the flag post by the guides. The tricolor flag was unfurled. As the tricolor flag fluttered high in the air. National Anthem was sung with reverence and pride.

The chief guest in her speech urged the students to love, respect and honour one another and their religion.

A cultural programme was put up later by the students of 9th D. The celebration commenced with all faith prayer service. Steve Furtado welcomed the Chief guest Mrs. Dhanalaxmi.

A skit was enacted on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

Sara and Apoorva spoke on the importance of the day and the architect of our constitution Dr. B.R.Ambedkar.

The various dance performances depicted the rich cultural heritage of our country.

The chief guest Mrs. Dhanalaxmi in her speech lauded the students for the wonderful programme and encouraged them to be good citizens of the country.

The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Adleen and Laxmi. Sania Coelho compered the programme.
