The feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of our school, was celebrated on 15 July 2023 with great devotion. The students of 2nd science hosted the programme in honour of Mother Mary. 

 

The celebration began with a solemn prayer service that highlighted the importance of grace towards growth in divine intimacy. Khadeeja Suhana and Fathima Ifha were the anchors of the celebration and Maliha Banu welcomed the gathering. The audience were welcomed with a graceful prayer dance. Mrs Benita Rita Madtha the former teacher of Ladyhill Victoria Higher Primary School was the chief guest. A skit on the importance of Brown Scapular was enacted and gave the message that whoever wears this will be protected from all danger and harm. The significance of the Mary feast was also told by the students. A small quiz based on the Carmel feast was held and the winners were awarded. A blessing song was sung by the students.

 

The chief guest Mrs Benita Rita Madtha addressed the gathering and congratulated the students on their performance. She gave a brief insight about the feast. 

 

Fathima Swaliha proposed vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the College Anthem.
